Registered Nurse – Critical Care​/ICU

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) / Critical Care RN for a 13-week W-2 contract assignment in Fairfield, California, with the possibility of extension.

The Critical Care RN will provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients, monitor patient conditions, administer medications and treatments, and collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in an ICU/critical care setting.
• Assess, monitor, and document patients' conditions and responses to treatment.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and changes in patient condition.
• Recognize and respond appropriately to changes in patient status and critical situations.
• Collaborate with physicians and other members of the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Follow hospital policies, infection-control procedures, and patient-safety standards.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.

• Minimum 3 years of acute/critical care RN experience
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• ADN or BSN
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIHSS certification
• Strong clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position
