- Assist manager and Floor Supervisor in administering training and testing for all new hires in proper dining room etiquette and procedures for service and cleaning using the Server training manual.
- Assist Manager with all aspects of scheduling to ensure proper coverage of service in the CC Café, Quail Creek, Dining Room, Catering events, The Oaks, and Creek Side Café.
- Supervise servers to ensure prompt service in CC Café, Quail Creek, Dining Room, Catering events, The Oaks, and Creek Side Café.
- Assist the dining room by working sections as server/host when team members are on vacation or call offs.
- Assist hosts by helping seat, reset/rearrange tables, or take over a position to add additional coverage on floor during busy service to ensure flow at podium.
- Remain flexible and adaptable.
- Communicate through appropriate channels.
- Handle difficult situations with good judgement.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Dining Room Manager.
- One year of experience in an institutional food service or restaurant situation required in a hostess or host position.
