Inventory Clerk

Overview

The Bright Spot is looking to hire inventory clerks that are friendly, outgoing individuals that make customer service their top priority and focus on creating long-term customer relationships. We believe that there is a need in each of us to be the best we can be.

The Inventory Control team will carry out the requests of the Inventory Manager in addition to stocking and assisting with inventory reconciliation, securing inventory at the close of business each day and monitoring inventory throughout all shifts. These staff members will be on call for the cashiers to retrieve products requested by consumers for purchase. Inventory Control Staff will have previous inventory management or commensurate experience, be interested and familiar with the cannabis industry.

This will be the first retail marijuana dispensary opening up in Fairfield so you will be helping us open our first store. All inventory clerk positions are part-time at this current moment so we are looking for individuals with open availability. Pay will be competitive compared to the industry standard and there will be plenty of opportunity to grow within the company as we are looking to expand.

• Stocking products for our sales floor, delivery drivers and express pick up
• Managing inventory for online and in store on Treez POS
• Maintaining extensive product knowledge on all cannabis products
• Staying up to date on California and City of Fairfield Cannabis Compliance
• Perform your opening, mid-day, and closing tasks
• Adhering at all times to all applicable laws, regulations, policies, compliance and protocols.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be legally eligible to work in California
• Must hold a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years experience in inventory management
• Knowledgeable and passionate about cannabis products and culture
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to multitask
• Pays attention to details
• Comfortable learning and working with POS systems and basic computer software
• Confident handling cash and processing payments
• Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
• Able to lift 50 lbs on an infrequent basis
