Cincy Automall is looking for a dependable and experienced Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join our dealership team.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working on a wide variety of vehicles and takes pride in diagnosing problems correctly, completing quality repairs, and keeping vehicles safe and road ready.

Because we sell used vehicles from many different manufacturers, our technicians are exposed to a broad mix of cars, trucks, and SUVs rather than working on the same models every day.

• Inspect and diagnose vehicles for mechanical, electrical, drivability, and safety concerns
• Perform brakes, suspension, steering, cooling system, battery, maintenance, and general mechanical repairs
• Diagnose check engine lights, warning lights, and vehicle performance issues
• Use scan tools and diagnostic equipment to accurately identify repair needs
• Perform vehicle inspections and identify issues before vehicles are offered for sale
• Complete oil changes, fluid services, tires, batteries, and preventative maintenance as needed
• Repair engine, suspension, electrical, braking, and other vehicle systems
• Verify completed repairs and ensure vehicles are operating properly
• Communicate additional repair needs clearly to management
• Maintain accurate repair records
• Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe

• Previous professional automotive repair or technician experience
• Strong understanding of automotive systems and repair procedures
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical problems
• Comfortable working on multiple makes and models
• Experience using automotive scan tools and diagnostic equipment
• Good problem solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and stay productive
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Valid driver's license
• ASE certifications are a plus but are not required

We are more interested in finding someone who can accurately diagnose vehicles, complete quality repairs, and be a dependable part of the team than someone who simply has a list of certifications.

Cincy Automall has a large and constantly changing used vehicle inventory, creating steady opportunities to work on a wide variety of vehicles and repair types.

This is not a position where you will spend every day performing the same basic service. We need technicians who enjoy troubleshooting problems, repairing vehicles, and helping us maintain a high quality retail inventory.
