, and interns that would like to work on engineering and construction projects. We are looking for professionals to train; and those that would like to gain experience in field observation, inspection and testing of construction materials, laboratory testing, and performing geotechnical site investigations in our Arvada, Colorado office.
Field responsibilities will consist of testing physical properties of concrete such as slump, air content and compressive strength, and testing for moisture content and/or density of soil and asphalt. Various field special inspections such as reinforcing steel, masonry, and drilled pier foundations may also be performed. Laboratory duties will consist of testing physical properties of soil, concrete and asphalt. Site Investigations entail permitting, scheduling, logging and sampling of the soils and bedrock.
Starting compensation generally ranges from $18.00 to $25.00 per hour depending on qualifications.
