Call Center Data Collection Interviewer – DOL

Manhattan Strategy Group (MSG), a leading management consulting firm, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Call Center Data Collection Interviewer for an upcoming opportunity with the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leveraging call center technologies, identifying trends, and pinpointing areas for improvement to drive operational efficiencies while enhancing the overall customer experience.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Performing outbound calls to businesses to meet monthly performance obligations.
  • Identify and resolve inconsistencies in respondent’s responses.
  • Establishing a rapport with potential respondents and enrolling companies into data collection program.
  • Ensuring quality control of collected data while identifying and reporting problems in obtaining valid information.
  • Interpreting numerical data, reviewing error messages, and correcting data where applicable.
  • Research target company contact information online.
  • Processes confidential data records obtained through telephone interviews or other approved means to achieve established performance levels.
  • Follows procedures related to rolling respondents to alternate collection methods after the initial five-month CATI collection.
  • Performs editing and reasonableness testing in accordance with established data collection standards
  • Adheres to daily, weekly, and monthly performance targets.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Must be able to successfully complete the Department of Personnel Suitability and Security Clearance Process.
  • High School diploma or equivalent plus two years customer service experience.
  • Two years of experience using Microsoft Office suite or equivalent software.
  • Experience using the internet for research.
