If you have your bachelor’s degree (any major), you’re eligible to join Swing Education today, even if you don’t yet have a substitute teaching permit or credential.

You’ll begin with classified support roles like teacher’s aide or paraprofessional. If you’d like to step into lead substitute teaching positions, we offer Swing Cert, a free step‑by‑step pathway with support to help you earn your Emergency 30‑Day Substitute Teaching Permit.

If you’re still working toward your degree but have 90+ completed college credits and your CL-505d Emergency Permit for Prospective Teachers, you can also substitute teach with Swing. If you don’t have the CL-505d yet, we recommend finishing your degree first, then joining us through the Swing Cert path.
