Accountant, Financial Reporting, Financial Analyst

The accountant position is responsible for creating and maintaining accurate and compliant financial documents for monthly and annual reporting. Position assists in maintaining G/L Account Structure, reviews/prepares monthly General Journal Entries and maintains related documentation, and reviews financial documents for accuracy and reconciling accounts. Position generates financial reports, analyzes financial data for monthly financial statements and provides recommendations, and prepares reconciliation and other schedules for interim and annual audit.

• Accountant responsible for Fixed Assets – analyzes and enters all capital additions, disposals, and retirements into system. Prepares asset reconciliation and reports. Works with the Corporate Controller on the Capital Access Team.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting required.

One year experience required.

• Requires advanced knowledge of a specialized or technical field or a thorough knowledge of the practices and techniques of a professional field.
• The knowledge required to perform this job once learned has frequent changes, but the changes are relatively minor.
• Develops ideas that result in improvement to existing programs, services, or processes.
• Maintains professional accounting skills and knowledge by related training, courses or journal information. Especially accounting as it relates to the health care field.
