Base pay range$18.00/hr - $24.00/hr
THE OPPORTUNITYOphthalmic Scribes play a key role in supporting our providers and patients. You’ll accompany physicians during exams, document real-time patient interactions, and assist with testing and procedures.
What You’ll Do- Prepare patient charts/EMRs and exam rooms
- Accurately document physician-patient interactions
- Track orders, prescriptions, and testing
- Perform ophthalmic testing & work up (visual acuity, tonometry, dilation, OCT, VF, etc.)
- Educate patients on procedures, testing, and prescriptions
- Audit charts for accuracy
- Provide exceptional patient care and service
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Outgoing, dependable, and service-oriented
- Calm under pressure, adaptable to change
- Positive team player with a can-do attitude
- Knowledge of ocular pharmacology is a plus (not required)
- Ability to stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 10 lbs.
