As a Fairfield-based Medical Receptionist, you'll be the first point of contact for patients seeking care, helping create a welcoming, efficient, and compassionate experience while supporting a high-performing urgent care team.

• Welcome patients and visitors with professionalism, warmth, and compassion
• Register patients and verify demographic, insurance, and workers' compensation information
• Collect co-pays, deductibles, and other patient payments
• Support patient flow and front-office operations in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the EMR system
• Help create a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Previous medical reception, healthcare, or customer service experience preferred
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems preferred
• Knowledge of insurance verification and medical terminology preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
• Commitment to professionalism, teamwork, and patient confidentiality
