Fundamatic is a fast-growing startup that builds automation tools for private‑market investors. We help endowments, foundations, and family offices turn complex investment documents into clean, reliable data—eliminating manual work and streamlining operations.

We’re looking for a motivated Analyst who enjoys solving problems at the intersection of finance and technology
. You’ll work directly with clients, partner closely with our engineers, and help shape the workflows and automation models that power our platform.

• CS students interested in finance
• Finance students interested in data, automation, and tech.

You don’t need expertise in both—strength in one and curiosity in the other is perfect.

• Maintain and improve document parsers/models across multiple asset classes.
• Review data for accuracy and communicate with clients when deliverables are ready.
• Troubleshoot extraction/classification issues and collaborate with engineers to resolve them.
• Support onboarding and ongoing client workflows.
• Contribute to roadmap discussions and help scale our platform as we grow.
• Build dashboards or data visualizations as time allows.

• Background in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Interest in private‑market investing or automation and data engineering.
• Familiarity with Python, SQL, or regex (basic is fine).
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, early‑stage startup environment.
• Clear communicator who enjoys working with clients as well as engineers.

• Experience or coursework related to private equity, venture capital, real estate, credit, or other illiquid assets.
• Exposure to financial statements or fund accounting.
• Prior startup, internship, or client‑facing experience.
