SharePoint Specialist will work within the IT team to deliver and support stable Microsoft SharePoint online solutions that support Heritage Christian Services employees requirements which supports the mission, vision and values of Heritage Christian Services, Inc. This will include configuring, deploying, and supporting a customized Microsoft SharePoint online environment, plus approved third party components.
Responsibilities- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements to design, configure, and document appropriate solutions in SharePoint online environment.
- Provide analysis of ‘out of the box’ functionality and present alternative extensibility options if required to meet the business needs.
- Design and configure data architecture constructs, including managed metadata, content types, site columns, etc…
- Responsible for being well versed with ‘out of the box’ SharePoint Online functionality, such as web parts, lists, libraries, and other common features.
- Creation of various workflows in SharePoint using Microsoft Power Automate Platform.
- Design, develop, customize team sites, libraries, lists, views, and workflows.
- Provide support and guidance to users on SharePoint and Power Platform features and functionalities.
- Participate in component and data architecture designs.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in an IT-related field.
- Two or more years of SharePoint development experience
- At least one year of experience with SharePoint Online and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work independently with business stakeholders
- Experience in all aspects of application development (analysis and design to implementation and support)
- Experience with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate
- Advanced application development (preferable .NET with VB or C#) experience and consuming Web Services
- A working understanding of Active Directory and Role Based Access principles
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office/O365 products
- Ability to work well in a team environment
