RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Sales Development Representative’s primary job responsibilities will include:

  • Source new sales opportunities through lead creation and follow-up.
  • Research accounts to understand needs, identify key contacts, and generate interest.
  • Qualify leads as sales opportunities using a variety of criteria, including business pain, budget, and timeline.
  • Schedule discovery meetings between prospective clients and Account Executives.
  • Maintain and expand the company’s database of prospects by capturing and managing information within Salesforce.
  • Provide sales support by managing customer implementation and creating customer agreements.
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly quotas of discovery meetings and qualified opportunities.
  • Attend industry events and trade shows as necessary.
  • Keep abreast of the industry and market trends, as well as competitive positioning.
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required to be considered for this position.
  • 1+ years of proven sales experience with a track record of over-achieving quota is preferred.
  • Strong desire for growth into a sales support or direct sales role.
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day.
  • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools.
  • Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms preferred.
  • Experience working with sales engagement platforms like Outreach or similar preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong listening and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • High level of initiative and self-motivation.
  • Up to 10% travel may be required for industry events.
