The Navy is searching for exceptional college students to become Intelligence Officers.

Know your enemy! Navy Intelligence officers provide accurate assessments enemy capability and intentions, so the Navy can take effective measures at strategic, operational or tactical level. Intelligence assessments are derived from technical and human penetration of the enemy and through a deep understanding of the adversary acquired through analytical rigor and expertise. Students in the program receive up to $6,000 per month in incentive pay while working towards graduation.

Through its Collegiate Program, the Navy also offers a salary to students while they are in school.

Primary Responsibilities – What We Expect of You

Once you graduate from school, you will serve in one of the roles listed below:

  • Deliver near-real-time intelligence assessments to commanders, decision makers and operators.
Targeting:
  • Identify and appropriately prosecute enemy targets.
Intelligence Support to Special Ops:
  • Support special warfare through all levels of war.
  • Face-to-face interaction in a challenging collection discipline.
Collection Management:
  • Manage the prioritization of requirements and the tasking of intelligence resources.
Scientific and Technical:
  • Participate in analysis of foreign weapons systems.
  • Monitor and analyze maritime activities that threaten national security.
Combatant Command Staff Officer:
  • Support theater engagement and cultivate regional and language expertise
* For students in the Intelligence Collegiate Program:
  • Graduate on-time while keeping up GPA and physical fitness
  • Earn up to $60-70k/yr while still in school (direct pay, not a scholarship)
  • Receive full medical/dental benefits
Minimum Qualifications – What You Need
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • 2.80 GPA or higher
  • 24 or fewer months away from graduating
Pay and Benefits

Salary varies by location based on cost of living

  • Gross salary range within first two years: $90,000 – $110,000
  • Gross salary range from two to four years of service: $110,000 – $130,000
  • Gross salary range at four years of service: $130,000 – $144,000
* Salary for Collegiates still in school
  • Starting monthly stipend: up to $6,000/month
  • Pay increases to levels listed above upon graduation
