A growing manufacturer is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and support compliance with government contracting requirements. This role will manage the close process, supervise accounting staff, and ensure accurate financial reporting in a regulated environment.

• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll accounting, and disbursements
• Manage monthly close and assist with preparation of financial statements
• Support revenue recognition under ASC 606, including percentage-of-completion accounting
• Review and process ACH, wire, and check payments
• Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Support cost accounting, overhead allocations, and cost center reporting
• Perform balance sheet and P&L reconciliations
• Provide financial reporting and analysis to leadership

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3–7 years of experience in manufacturing and/or government contracting accounting
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, CAS, and FAR/DFARS
• ERP experience (SAP preferred) and strong Excel skills
• U.S. Citizenship; ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
