Training & Development Specialist
Join Acrisure as a Training & Development Specialist in the East Division. The role focuses on designing, coordinating, and delivering training for new hires and existing employees across sales and service teams.
Job SummaryThe primary responsibility is to manage comprehensive training programs that support employees throughout their career lifecycle. This includes onboarding, refresher training, and development for specialized roles.
Responsibilities- Facilitate onboarding for all new employees, including walkthrough of Epic Welcome Kit, intro Epic training, Outlook/Teams/Webex setup, fax procedures, SharePoint navigation, M365/Adobe training sites, Total CSR registration, Workday training, reports, and SWARM process.
- Conduct refresher training when requested by team leads or managers.
- Serve as a resource on workflow, process, and resource questions.
- Support leadership with cleanup projects, operational initiatives, and training documentation.
- Participate in onboarding meetings and scheduled trainings.
- Provide administrative and logistical support for training activities.
- Shadow new employees during first year to ensure hands‑on learning.
- Identify employees ready for advancement and coordinate targeted training.
- Schedule and facilitate virtual, in‑person, or hybrid sessions covering industry fundamentals, systems, and role‑specific skills.
- Communicate continuing‑education opportunities, certifications, and seminars.
- Collaborate with operations, placement, and sales leaders to align training with business objectives.
- Monitor employee progress through assessments, feedback, and performance reviews.
- Coordinate with external vendors and subject‑matter experts for advanced training.
- Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Mentor new hires and existing employees.
- Minimum 2 years experience in Insurance Account Manager or similar role.
- Experience with Applied Systems / EPIC.
- Strong understanding of insurance industry and career progression.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in developing training materials and using e‑learning platforms.
- Ability to engage & motivate learners at various career stages.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- High School diploma required;
Associate Degree or higher preferred. - Active Property & Casualty license or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
Base compensation range: $70,000 – $85,000.
Candidate ExpectationsComfortable with on‑site presence to support collaboration and cross‑functional partnership.
