KBW Financial Staffing and Recruiting has partnered with a growing U.S. subsidiary of a global, publicly traded organization is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead all accounting, reporting, compliance, and financial operations. This is a small but highly visible business unit within a much larger international corporate structure, offering both autonomy and stability.
This role reports locally to the CEO and functionally to the global CFO.
About the Company
- $15M U.S. operations within a major multinational group
- Designs, distributes, and supports specialized technology products and components
- Mix of distribution, light production, and technical services
- Small, collaborative environment backed by a large global parent
Key Responsibilities
- Own monthly financial reporting and ensure accuracy of all financial statements
- Present financial performance, explain variances, and recommend improvements
- Lead annual and multi-year budgeting (P&L and cash flow)
- Maintain compliance with U.S. accounting and tax regulations
- Manage annual audit and external auditor relationships
- Establish and enhance internal controls
- Oversee insurance renewals, contract reviews, and risk mitigation
- Manage banking relationships
- Oversee short- and long-term cash forecasting
- Manage AR/AP, creditworthiness, and timely collections and payments
- 5+ years in a Controller or senior accounting role
- Experience in a small-company environment within a technology, components, or manufacturing-adjacent sector
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Skilled in product costing, inventory valuation, and management accounting
- Comfortable working autonomously while partnering with an international parent organization
- Hands-on operator who can manage day-to-day accounting while contributing strategically
Qualifications:
You must be eligible to work in the United States without any restrictions, now or in the future.
You must be local - no relocation candidates.
You must have manufacturing industry experience.
