Job Summary
Acrisure is seeking an Employee Benefits Commission Reconciliation & Audit Analyst to join our growing team in the East Division. The Analyst safeguards accuracy, transparency, and integrity of commission data across the Employee Benefits division, leading reconciliation and audit efforts within EPIC and other financial systems to ensure alignment between carrier payments, internal records, and operational data. The Analyst serves as a key resource in upholding financial integrity excellence—driving accuracy, compliance, and confidence in the organization’s financial reporting processes.
Responsibilities- Conduct detailed reconciliations of carrier commission statements within EPIC to ensure complete and accurate financial data.
- Investigate and resolve complex discrepancies or payment variances, ensuring timeliness and precision in all reconciliations.
- Monitor and validate data integrity across systems, ensuring accurate alignment between EPIC, carrier feeds, and financial reporting tools.
- Lead periodic internal audits of commission data, workflows, and processes to validate compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Establish and maintain audit‑ready documentation supporting all reconciliation and financial activities.
- Identify and communicate trends, risks, and control gaps uncovered during audit or reconciliation activities.
- Partner with Finance, Accounting, and Compliance teams to enhance EPIC financial integrity excellence, ensuring consistent and reliable reporting.
- Develop and deliver recurring and ad hoc reports summarizing reconciliation and audit findings, variances, and root‑cause analyses.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership to improve data quality and process efficiency.
- Support financial planning, forecasting, and carrier relationship management with accurate and timely reporting.
- Evaluate existing reconciliation and audit workflows; recommend and implement process enhancements or automation to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain and continuously improve internal controls to ensure EPIC data consistency and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate on enterprise‑level initiatives to standardize reconciliation, audit, and reporting processes across divisions.
- Act as a subject‑matter expert in commission and reconciliation processes, supporting team training and best practices.
- Serve as a liaison with carriers to resolve complex commission or audit‑related issues, promoting transparency and trust.
- Employee Benefits insurance knowledge with 4+ years’ industry experience and/or demonstrated ability to successfully handle complexities of job.
- Active Life & Health License highly preferred, or willing to obtain within 90 days of employment.
- Applied Systems / EPIC experience required.
- Strong organizational skills – ability to prioritize and be proactive.
- Ability to adapt well to change in direction and priority in a fast‑paced environment.
- Computer skills, specifically Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills.
- High School diploma required, Associate Degree or higher preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Employee Benefits Operations.
