Machine Operator

CoWorx Staffing in conjunction with a Client that specializes in Technician ceramics is looking for a Machine Operator in Fairfield, NJ. This position is responsible for setting up and operating machining equipment to produce a variety of parts according to the procedures established. This role ensures strict adherence to quality standards while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment. Temp to Hire position - 7am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday

Fairfield, New Jersey

• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Operate assigned equipment within the department.
• Perform machining operations on a variety of parts to meet specifications.
• Work to required tolerances using precision measuring tools.
• Sharpen tools as needed to maintain performance.
• Inspect work for accuracy after first article approval.
• Operate equipment at optimal efficiency while ensuring compliance with specifications.
• Prepare and maintain required records and reports.

• HS Diploma or GED
• Proven experience as a machine operator
• Ability to operate machine tools
• Skilled in using precision instruments (micrometers, indicators, etc.) for accurate measurements
• High school diploma or equivalent

Position is temp to perm with full benefits once hired perm.
