Zing Recruiting is seeking to hire an experienced Digital Print Operator to join a dynamic team in Fairfield, NJ.

Pay Range: $26-$29/hour

Schedule Options:

• Monday-Friday, 4:00 AM - 1:00 PM
• Monday-Friday, 11:30 AM - 7:30 PM

Important: Candidates must be flexible with their schedule. Shift times and workdays may be adjusted based on production demands and printer maintenance requirements.

Are you an experienced Digital Print Operator with a strong background in large-format printing
? We are seeking detail-oriented professionals who take pride in producing high-quality printed products while maintaining exceptional accuracy and efficiency.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with hands-on experience operating large-format digital printers who enjoy troubleshooting equipment, managing color quality, and working in a production-driven environment.

• Operate large-format digital printing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials.
• Ensure color accuracy and consistency by monitoring color targets and image quality.
• Review and prioritize print orders based on deadlines, customer requirements, and equipment capabilities.
• Set up and adjust print jobs to maximize productivity and quality.
• Perform quality control checks throughout the production process.
• Troubleshoot printing issues and resolve image quality concerns.
• Process and complete orders in a timely manner while communicating any delays.
• Conduct routine machine maintenance, including cleaning equipment, replenishing consumables, and replacing filters and waste containers.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify and correct print quality issues.
• Organize, package, and prepare completed jobs for delivery.
• Report equipment malfunctions and mechanical issues requiring technician support.
• Follow preventative maintenance schedules and operational procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience operating large-format digital printing equipment

• Experience troubleshooting print issues and performing minor machine maintenance.
• Strong understanding of color management, color theory, and print quality standards
  .
• Ability to perform detailed quality inspections and identify defects early in the production process.
• Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or print production environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow procedures consistently.

• Experience with Vutek printers is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of large-format digital printing materials and finishing processes.
• Previous experience in a high-volume print production environment.

• Ability to lift, move, and load print media rolls weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working around production equipment and machinery.
