Description:
We are seeking a Vascular Surgeon for locum coverage.
The position involves inpatient rounding, endovascular, and surgical procedures.
The average number of patients per day is between 10 to 15.The workload includes clinic and after-hours call coverage.
The call type will be beeper/phone call with a ratio of 1 in 4.The ideal candidate should possess excellent clinical skills and experience in a hospital setting.
Fellowship training in Vascular Surgery is required.
The estimated credentialing timeframe is approximately 3 months if the candidate holds an Ohio medical license along with Ohio DEA and Medicare.
Travel reimbursements for airfare, lodging, and rental car will be approved.
This position does not require a leadership role or teaching responsibilities.
The patient population will be primarily adults, with an outpatient vs. inpatient ratio of 20/80.The EMR/Documentation system used will be EPIC.
