The
Manufacturing Site Leader
is a technical leader with strong operations experience who will oversee the Ohio site, ensuring effective and efficient use of facilities and staff.
- Establish and monitor manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality and financial goals are achieved.
- Oversee and participate in the recruitment, hiring, and training of manufacturing staff.
- Work to reduce and eliminate barriers and obstacles to improve overall cost and scheduling performance, with a strong emphasis on both top‑line growth and bottom‑line execution.
- Demonstrate commitment to teamwork by establishing effective relationships and networks with both managers/directors and direct labor, collaborating with them to accomplish shared purposes and goals.
- Promote a positive working environment with emphasis on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee engagement.
- Continue the lean journey by implementing the established transformational plans and holding themselves and the team to a disciplined rigor of sustainment.
- Be a change agent while balancing historical knowledge, understanding how and when to push the organization
- Establish objectives and actions to achieve company goals and objectives.
- Estimate risks and apply risk mitigation techniques.
- Select, develop, and evaluate employees to ensure the efficient operation of the plant.
- Support new product introduction, drive throughput and efficiency improvements, and materials cost reductions.
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or mechanical engineering (or similar)
- Experience with managing a P&L in a high growth segment
- 8-10 years’ experience in the manufacturing Industry, having very good exposure in Lean Management, Documentation, and Kaizen activities.
- 3 years of manager experience in a High Mix Low Volume Manufacturing setup or high-speed manufacturing.
- 3 years of experience in new product launches and/or phased gate processes
- Strong background in Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen Philosophy. Positive, proactive, and very systematic approach to problem solving.
- Trusted professional credibility, capable of working independently.
- Able to work in a team under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
- Comfortable with analytical methods, process‑focused.
- Expertise improvement techniques – Lean Green belt or Black Belt certification is desired.
- Result orientation and attention to detail, good execution with following up work habits.
