Schneider Electric is seeking a highly motivated Prefab Technical Writer to support its Prefabricated Modular Data Center solutions within the Data Center Systems organization. This role will transform complex engineering and project information into clear, accurate, and customer-ready documentation for prefabricated solutions, including power modules, power skids, data halls, all-in-one modules, IT pods.
The successful candidate will collaborate with engineering, project execution, manufacturing, product management, technical experts, and other technical writers to develop documentation that supports the installation, operation, commissioning of prefabricated modular data center projects. This position requires strong technical writing, analytical thinking, attention to detail, stakeholder management, and the ability to interpret engineering information across electrical, mechanical, structural, and cooling disciplines.
Key Responsibilities Technical Documentation Development- Develop, revise, and maintain customer-facing technical documentation for prefabricated modular data center solutions.
- Create installation manuals covering enclosure installation, electrical connections, hydraulic connections, and other project-specific installation requirements.
- Develop operation manuals, technical specifications, and sequence-of-operation documents for the systems and equipment incorporated into each solution.
- Clearly document procedures for operating primary equipment and provide appropriate references to original equipment manufacturer documentation.
- Translate complex engineering content into clear, concise, and easy-to-understand
