Assembler, Manufacturing ​/ Production

MWG is adding an Assembler to our Fairfield location!

JOB SUMMARY:

Performs tasks to assemble and install material kits, according to customer specification. Works with and accounts for assigned hand tools. Observes all standard safety practices.

• Read and execute build requirements from approved prints and other work instructions.
• Operate any and all equipment, instrumentation, machines and tools to perform all duties and responsibilities.
• Performs accurate measurement of facility product line components and assemblies.
• Elevate safety, quality, and manufacturing issues to supervisor in a timely manner.
• Perform in-process inspections.
• Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constrains of the job.

Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally, stand for the entire shift, bend, squat, twist and turn.

The employee in this role will be working indoors, in an industrial manufacturing environment. The employee will regularly be exposed to noise levels requiring hearing protection, moving equipment and mechanical parts. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
