American Fan has an opportunity for a Painter, based in our Fairfield, OH facility. The painter will work with the rest of the team to ensure that the product is driven to successful completion.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities- Inspect items before, during, and after painting to ensure quality.
- Cover areas where paint is not needed using tape, wrap, or other materials.
- Follow instructions to mix paints, select tools, and prepare materials for the job.
- Check paint thickness and uniformity before final coating or curing.
- Use spray painting equipment to apply an even, high-quality finish, and touch up as needed.
- Clean tools, equipment, and the workspace after painting.
- Safely move items to and from the work area using appropriate tools or equipment.
- Track work progress and follow all EPA standards and guidelines.
- Uphold FMD’s core values of integrity, velocity, and teamwork in all tasks.
- Be open to cross‑training and assist with other duties as requested by the manager.
- 2+ years’ experience preferred.
- Ability to read manufacturing drawings.
- Experience working with MIL‑Specs (military specifications).
- Valid Driver’s License
- High School Diploma (Preferred) or GED
