Build your career with G&W Products in Fairfield, OH. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Laser Assistant/Grinder Operator to support our 1 & 2nd shift teams. About the Role: As a Laser Assistant/Grinder Operator, you will help Operations with daily production tasks and the finishing of laser-cut and or weld products. This includes examining, sorting, grinding, moving, and preparing parts to support quality and production goals.

• Perform part dressing and grinding as needed
• Remove material skeletons and finished parts
• Verify product quantities and dimensions
• Check that products are correctly tagged
• Transfer parts to designated areas
• Use pneumatic and power tools safely and efficiently
• Sheet metal experience preferred

• A strong focus on safety, quality, and accuracy
• Ability to follow instructions and work well in a production environment
• Comfort using hand tools, pneumatic tools, and power tools
• Sheet metal experience preferred

• Must be able to meet the physical demands of business needs daily, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs. multiple times a day
• Must be able to sit/stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to withstand extended exposure to heat
