Full-Time Connections and Outreach Minister
Fairfield Church of Christ – Fairfield, OH

Job Summary:

Fairfield Church of Christ is seeking a passionate and dedicated
full-time Connections Minister to help foster a welcoming and engaging
environment for our church family and visitors. This role focuses on
overseeing small groups, managing new member integration and
membership care, enhancing first impressions, and developing
strategies to connect people to the life and mission of the church.

Key Responsibilities:

Small Groups:
Develop, oversee, and grow the church’s small group
ministry, equipping leaders and ensuring groups meet the spiritual and
relational needs of participants.
New Members/Membership:
Create pathways for new members to integrate
into the church, including membership classes, follow-up systems, and
opportunities for involvement.
First Impressions:
Lead and coordinate hospitality teams (greeters,
ushers, etc.) to ensure a welcoming experience for all guests and
members.
Be a member of the preaching and teaching team
Build meaningful relationships with members and guests, providing
care, support, and opportunities for deeper connection.
Collaborate with church leadership to develop and execute strategies
for member engagement and retention.
Assist in planning and executing events and initiatives that
strengthen community and outreach.

Qualifications:

Strong organizational and relational skills with a passion for
connecting people to Christ and His church.
Experience in church leadership, ministry, or related fields.
Ability to recruit, train, and empower volunteers.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to the mission and values of Fairfield Church of Christ.
Bachelor’s Degree Minimum preference in ministry field
