Position Summary

We are seeking entry-level, part-time sales associates to work in our pawn store locations nationwide. As a Pawnbroker/Retail Sales Associate, you will partner with the entire store staff to ensure excellent customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers to develop a rapport and provide financial solutions.
• Perform non-management open/close procedures.
• Maintain a clean and stocked sales floor.
• Process sales and loan transactions in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Handle cash and negotiable items in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Answer incoming calls and communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
• Partner with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
• Minimum Age: 18 years old
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Strong desire to work with people and be team-oriented.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to perform basic math calculations proficiently.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Must have the ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate Point-Of-Sale (POS) systems and common office machines.
