New hire sign‑on bonus: $12,000 new hire sign‑on bonus for this position. (rehires termed more than 1 year also eligible)*
Hours: 24 flex 32hrs
Shift: Flexible shifts & hours with every fourth weekend and holiday rotation

ResponsibilitiesUnder the general supervision and direction of the Manager, Radiology Clinical Services or designee, perform diversified clinical patient care, technical and related duties within radiography and computed tomography as part of an interdisciplinary care team. Responsible for each assigned patient, perform patient assessments, and correlate clinical findings with exam/procedure request. Obtain pertinent information from patient chart and document all data within the EHR.
Educate patient for exam. Position patient and select appropriate imaging equipment and supplies. Identify, prepare and/or administer pharmaceuticals related to the exam/procedure. Select technical factors/parameters/sequences to produce quality images. Properly identify anatomy and evaluate images for technical quality. Apply the principles of ALARA to minimize exposure to patient, self and others and be aware of MR safety practices. Assist physicians in performing procedures.
- Successful completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology and attainment of primary certification within one year of eligibility and post‑primary certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Computed Tomography, RT(CT).
- Post‑primary certification in the advanced practice discipline of CT is required for RTs within one year of eligibility and/or per RT licensure in MA or RI.
- Current RT licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and/or Rhode Island is required based on location assignment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
- Will also support Urgent Care on weekends, assisting providers and staff with patient flow and performing basic duties as needed to help maintain an efficient and safe care environment.
- Role requires flexibility, strong communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with the Urgent Care team while balancing radiology responsibilities.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID‑19 virus or be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
Pay Range: USD $38.89 – USD $60.60 /Hr.
Rotation Schedule RequirementEvery fourth weekend and holiday.
