Pharmacy Technician – Oncology Company Overview

Pharmacy Technician – Oncology.

Hours:

24 hrs per week, Day shift 7:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Location:

Oncology – Fairhaven, MA. Required to work at both the Fall River and Fairhaven sites on a weekly basis and as needed.

• Under the direction of the Manager, Pharmacy Oncology or designee, perform duties involving preparation of products using aseptic techniques and batching medications following USP 797/800 guidelines.
• Perform cleaning per guidelines.
• Purchase supplies and medications.
• Generate automated dispensing machine (ADM) reports with appropriate follow‑up.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Additional clinical coursework or training preferred.
• Massachusetts state registration as a Pharmacy Technician required; must remain registered.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification required within 18 months of hire.
• One year of related work experience required; three years preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID‑19, or be exempt with signed statement.

Pay rate: USD $19.18 – $28.82 per hour.
