Cashier​/Food Service Worker; Part Time

Overview

We are hiring immediately for a part-time CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER position.

Fairhaven School District - 128 Washington Street, Fairhaven, Massachusetts 02719.

Schedule:

Part time;
Monday through Friday, hours may vary. More details upon interview.

Fixed Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour.

• No prior experience is required.

• Operate Point of Sale system and assist the Chef; prepare coffee and keep stations clean.
• Help prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods and desserts; assist with catering orders.
• Perform cashier duties using the POS system; maintain cash accuracy with receipts and make deposits at end of shift.
• Perform general cleaning duties; remove trash to designated areas.
• Provide service in all retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
• Inventory and restock supplies and food products; set up serving lines and ensure temperature checks are recorded and within acceptable ranges; notify cooks if temperatures are not within limits.
• Keep refrigerator stocked and product rotated; stock pantries with correct par levels and record replenishments and refrigerator temperatures daily.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
