Responsibilities- Achieve or exceed sales targets by actively promoting and effectively cross‑selling banking products and services to existing and prospective customers.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Proactively prospect for new clients through networking, referrals, lead calling, portfolio management, and community engagement.
- Meet customer financial needs—including transactional, servicing, and product requirements.
- Deliver an elevated customer experience with personalized, seamless, and attentive service.
- Foster customer loyalty by addressing concerns and providing timely resolutions.
- Engage customers through digital platforms to enhance interactions and educate them on self‑service options.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with customers in person, over the phone, or through digital channels.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies related to risk and fraud defense.
- Collaborate with team members and partners to achieve branch goals and drive overall performance.
- Provide support for nearby branch locations as needed based on business necessity.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; education in Business Management, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is preferred.
- 3+ years of sales experience in an incentive‑based environment, or 12+ months in retail banking sales, financial services sales, or consultative relationship sales with proven success.
- 12+ months of proven Santander experience or endorsement from District Executive, District Operations Manager, or Region President.
- 12+ months of high‑volume, fast‑paced customer service experience.
- Strong relationship‑building skills focused on customer experience and loyalty.
- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for helping others.
- Proven track record in sales and cross‑selling.
- Collaborative team player with strong communication, consultative, and influence skills.
- Professional image and credible presence.
- Proficiency in digital tools and technology for customer engagement.
- Ability to follow directions, policies, and procedures.
- Risk awareness and escalation capability.
- Adaptability to a fast‑paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Computer proficiency and basic math skills.
- Availability for branch hours, including weekends and evenings.
- No certifications required for this position.
- Established work history demonstrated through experience, training, or education.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products.
Base Pay Range: $38,250 – $59,000 USD per year.
