This position is responsible for interacting with customers and team members, supporting selling initiatives, and performing assigned tasks while providing legendary customer service.

As a Team Member, you must be available, flexible, adaptable, and service-oriented, capable of fulfilling the following requirements:

No experience required; retail or pet/live animal knowledge preferred. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required. Must be able to read, write, and count accurately.

• Pet/live animal, pet food, and pet product knowledge
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Basic computer skills
• Interpersonal skills and ethical issue resolution

• Indoor environment with moderate noise
• Hard surface floors and outdoor lots
• Shifts typically no less than 4 hours, possibly exceeding 8 hours
• Adhere to safety guidelines

• Non-sedentary; ability to move quickly and safely
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently
• Occasionally lift or reach overhead
• Stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, stoop, climb ladders
• Move throughout the store for entire shift
• Access all store areas safely
• Operate store equipment
• Read, write, and count accurately
• Communicate effectively
• Process merchandise and operate POS system
• Lift and transfer items up to 50 pounds
• Complete training and certification
