** Valid Driver's License (AU Driver Policy Requirements - C123)*
* 2. All candidates must possess a valid  driver's license. This is crucial for roles that require driving as part of job responsibilities. Candidates are required to provide a copy of their driver's license during the application process.

** How This Role Works:*

** Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"):
** You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

** Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:
** In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

** Responsibilities:*
* + Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, grounds, access points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and potential hazards.

+ Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and assist with visitor and contractor entry procedures.

+ Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
