** Pre-Employment Requirements:*

** Valid Driver's License:*
* 2. All candidates must possess a valid  driver's license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123). This is essential for roles that involve driving company vehicles or require travel as part of job responsibilities.

** EMT Certification:*
* 4. Candidates must hold a current Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification (C127). This certification is crucial for positions that involve emergency response and medical assistance.

** How This Role Works:*

** Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"):
** You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

** Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:
** In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

** Responsibilities:*
* + Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout industrial production areas, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.

+ Monitor for unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards, and report observations to the appropriate personnel.

+ Document patrols, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly.

* + Possess EMT certification.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Have previous firefighting experience.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
