The purpose of this position is to provide clinical and clerical support for faculty physicians and to provide outreach to middle school, high school, and/or local sports teams.



Minimum Qualifications

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training or Physiology.
• Nationally Certified Athletic Trainer.

Experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Two years of experience in Athletic Training.

CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The statements described here are intended to describe the general nature of work being performed by people assigned to this position. • Utilize Athletic Training skills to perform evaluation/assessment of patient.
• Perform patient education and design/implement exercise program as indicated by physician or physical therapist.
• Provide visit support to Physician or Physical Therapist during patient visit, including stretching and movement.
• Develops customized treatment plans and makes appropriate recommendations for ideal steps in athlete care.
• Coordinating with the management to maintain equipment inventory.
• May attend sports events to provide the needed on-site care.
