We are seeking a skilled and safety‑conscious Forklift Operator to join our team. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for moving, loading, and unloading materials in our warehouse or production facility using a forklift. The ideal candidate will ensure the safe and efficient operation of the forklift, maintain the organization of inventory, and comply with all safety protocols.
Responsibilities- Safely operate a forklift to transport materials and products within the warehouse or production facility.
- Load and unload trucks and containers efficiently and safely.
- Stack and organize materials in designated storage areas.
- Ensure that all inventory is properly labeled and stored in accordance with company procedures.
- Perform daily inspections of forklifts and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety standards and regulations, including wearing required safety gear.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of products manually when required.
- Monitor stock levels and report any shortages or discrepancies to management.
- Follow company policies for operating forklifts and handling materials.
- Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of materials.
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting is preferred.
- Forklift certification required (or willingness to obtain certification).
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and ability to follow all safety protocols.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
