Description:
This position is for a registered nurse in a skilled nursing unit.
The unit will have 30 beds, with a phased opening consisting of 7-8 beds per phase.
The nurse-to-patient ratio is 15.Registered nurses are not required to titrate drips.
There are charge nurses and a house supervisor available onsite 24/7.Certified nursing assistants will be present on the unit.
Equipment available includes vents, CPAP, and BiPAP.There is no telemetry on this unit, and RNs do not read strips.
Shifts will be 12 hours with a weekend requirement.
Holiday work is also required.
There is no call or standby requirement for this position.
Unit-specific orientation will be provided.
Candidates must have clearance from the required background check.
Orientation will include a mixture of remote and onsite training.
