Typical Day

Joining H&R Block as a seasonal Client Service Professional/Receptionist means you’ll focus on how to wow clients now and in the future.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work flexible schedule and/or in multiple locations
  • Sales/marketing experience
Responsibilities
  • Answer phones and greet clients in a personalized, friendly, and inviting manner
  • Match clients with the best‑suited tax professional for their needs
  • Schedule clients how they would like to be scheduled
  • Help to ensure all client needs have been met during service both in person, over the phone, or virtually
  • Maintain office cleanliness and organize resources with team members
  • Other duties as assigned
Your Expertise
  • Experience working in a fast‑paced environment
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Ability to multi‑task
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills
  • Computer proficient with Microsoft Office

Pay Range

The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. Individual pay decisions will depend on job‑related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed. Successful candidates may be eligible for incentive compensation or short‑term incentive plans, which could generate additional earnings. Qualifying associates can enroll themselves and/or eligible dependents in medical and prescription drug coverage;

participate in the H&R Block Retirement Savings Plan (401(k) Plan), the Employee Assistance Program, virtual fitness center programs, and the associate discount program; are automatically enrolled in Business Travel Accident Insurance; and receive an Associate Tax Prep benefit.
