You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and will perform as a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations.

• Determine donor eligibility; manage informed consent, AIDS education, medical history interview, physical examination, blood testing, and review of Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE).
• Evaluate donor reactions and follow applicable SOPs for medical emergencies.
• Refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for unacceptable findings or guidance concerning medical or technical issues.
• Support the Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents and determine further evaluation by occupational health/ER.
• Act as a Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations of pandemic threats.

• High school diploma or equivalent; graduate equivalent of a recognized educational nursing program with state requirements.
• Currently licensed or certified in the state where responsibilities will be assigned: LPN or LVN.
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification.
• Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy.
• Complete FDA approved training requirements for Bio Life Medical Support Specialist.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Country: USA – IL – Fairview Heights. U.S. hourly wage range: $23.85 – $32.79. U.S. based employees may be eligible for short‑term incentives, medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) plan with match, disability coverage, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time off, holidays, and well‑being benefits. Employees are eligible for up to 80 hours of sick time and, for new hires, up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
