Securitas is hiring qualified individuals for Security Flex Officer positions to join our team. Candidates must be willing to participate in the company’s pre‑employment screening process, including a drug screen and background investigation.

Work locations cover the metro‑east ranging from Godfrey to Cahokia Heights, Pontoon Beach to Sauget. Interviews will be in‑person at our office. Open interviews are every Thursday, 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Proper interview attire is required.

Available shifts: 2nd shift and/or 3rd shift, weekends, holidays. Monday‑to‑Friday and/or day shift positions are not available.

• Must be at least 18 years of age to qualify for an Illinois PERC Security Officer License in the State of Illinois.
• Must be able to walk on uneven terrain and walk up/down flights of stairs. This position is about 75% to 80% standing/walking.
• This position will be up to about 75% to 80% of the time outside.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record needed. This is a driving position. (All our positions include driver certification).
• Have reliable transportation. Public transportation is not available at most work site locations.
• Will need to be available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday during hours of 1:00 pm to 7:00 am.
• Will need to be available all holidays.
• Have a reliable working communication device (cell phone).
• Have a minimum of a High School Diploma, GED, or willing to complete a GED program.
• Average computer skills needed; above average computer skills a plus.
• Conflict resolution and de‑escalation skills a plus.
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• Have the legal right to work in the United States.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
