• Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
• Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts.
• Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs).
• Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns.
• Safety checks on vehicles – safety of every employee and the people in our communities is our number one priority.
• Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
• Assist senior Mechanics in the completion of project work.
• Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards and perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

The expected base pay range for this on-site position across the U.S is $25.00 - $30.00 per hour. Pay is based on experience. Benefits include:

• Tool allowance worth $250 per quarter
• Boot allowance worth an additional $200 yearly

• Monday – Friday, 2nd Shift 1pm – 9:30pm with overtime opportunities
• Repair/maintenance shop at WM’s Fairview, NJ hauling site

• 2 years of relevant work experience
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Be over 18 years of age
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
• Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical

• Required to exert physical effort including frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, and climbing; constantly standing, walking, and grasping; occasionally sitting and balancing
