CNC Programmer

CNC Programmer

This role is onsite in Portland, Oregon working the day shift.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs to support precision machining operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve CNC programming, tooling, and machining issues to minimize downtime and scrap.
• Collaborate with engineering, operators, maintenance, and quality teams to support production and continuous improvement.
• Interpret 3D models, drawings, and GD&T to ensure accurate machining and adherence to specifications.
• Promote and lead safe work practices within CNC and manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of hands‑on CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong proficiency in CNC programming languages (e.g., G‑code, conversational programming).
• Experience with CAD/CAM systems and 3D modeling software, with the ability to interpret complex models and drawings.
• Solid understanding of machining processes, tooling selection, material properties, and fixturing concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical issues, communicate effectively across teams, and apply critical thinking in fast‑paced settings.

Salary

$34–$40/hr + Bonus (DOE)
