We are looking for a caregiver who is mature, patient, observant, conscientious, dependable, and comfortable working independently in a client’s home. The client already has a weekly professional housecleaning service. The caregiver is not being hired to perform deep cleaning
. Caregivers are expected to keep the home tidy during the shift, clean up after activities and meals, and maintain clear walking areas to reduce fall hazards.
The home has a cat. Applicants must be comfortable working around pets and understand that pet toys, bowls, supplies, and the animal itself can create additional trip hazards for a client with limited mobility.
The ideal caregiver will notice reasonable tasks that need attention and complete them proactively rather than waiting for the client to provide constant direction.
Transportation RequirementsThe client may require transportation for approved outings, appointments, grocery shopping, or errands.
