Service Service is recruiting for an Electrical Machinery Fitter to join a well-established engineering manufacturer based in Fakenham.

This is a hands-on role involving the assembly and fault-finding of specialist machinery. The successful candidate will work with electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, supporting both new machine builds and ongoing maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

* Build and assemble machinery from electrical schematics and engineering drawings

* Carry out wiring, soldering, crimping, loom assembly, and panel building

* Test and service machinery

* Diagnose and repair electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults

* Support machine installation and ongoing maintenance activities

* Work with basic PLC-controlled equipment and assist with fault finding

* Complete documentation and reports where required

About You

* Time-served apprentice or equivalent industry experience

* Experience with machine wiring, panel building, and electrical assembly

* Strong fault-finding skills down to component level

* Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic systems

* Experience working with PLC-controlled machinery

* Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams and technical drawings

* Competent using Microsoft Office applications

* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

* Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm
