Production Operative

1.Job Purpose

To support the safe, efficient and high-quality production of chocolate products by carrying out packing, stacking and quality-checking activities while following workplace procedures, food-safety standards and instructions from the production team.

2. Key

Duties & Responsibilities

• Pack chocolate products accurately and efficiently.

• Stack finished products safely and correctly.

• Carry out quality checks and report defects or issues promptly.

• Follow production, hygiene, food-safety and health & safety procedures.

• Keep the work area clean, organised and safe.

• Work effectively as part of a production team.

• Meet production, quality and attendance requirements.

• Complete other reasonable production duties as directed by the supervisor.

Essential

Good attention to detail

Reliable and punctual

Able to follow instructions and workplace procedures

Able to work days 6am-6pm

Desirable

Previous production, manufacturing, warehouse or food-industry experience

Desirable

Comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment

Working Environment & Requirements

• Factory / production environment.

• Personal protective equipment (PPE) and hygiene requirements must be followed.

• Role may involve standing for extended periods and repetitive production tasks
