Library Assistant – Erskine

35 hours, Temporary until 1 March 2027, Grade 03: £26,790.97 p.a. (£14.68 per hour)

Position for One Ren employees only.

• Serve library users and provide an efficient, helpful, and responsive service at all times.
• Contribute to the provision of a comprehensive library and information service.
• Promote library membership and benefits to the local community through outreach and consultation.
• Operate library facilities and technology in a computer‑literate manner, demonstrating digital literacy.
• Deliver excellent communication and customer‑care skills to meet user needs.

• Flexibility and enthusiasm for books and reading.
• Ability to work at any One Ren location as required.
• Mandatory PVG Disclosure Scotland check.

• Week 1:
  Monday 9am – 5pm, Tuesday 12:30pm – 8pm, Wednesday 9am – 5pm, Thursday 9am – 5pm, Friday 9am – 5pm (1 hour lunch break, 30 minutes on Tuesday).
• Week 2:
  Monday 9am – 5pm, Tuesday 12:30pm – 8pm, Wednesday 9am – 5pm, Friday 9am – 5pm, Saturday 9am – 5pm (1 hour lunch break, 30 minutes on Tuesday).
