Salary: 41,833 - 50,359

Hours: 1.0 FTE / 35 Hours

Contract type: Permanent

• Deliver high quality learning, teaching and assessment within Health and Social Care programmes at SCQF Levels 4-7.
• Produce engaging learning materials and contribute to an excellent learner experience.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching approaches, including the effective use of learning technologies.
• Ensure curriculum content remains current, relevant and responsive to sector needs.
• Contribute to curriculum development activities and provide effective academic and pastoral support to learners.

• Educated to at least degree level.
• Hold current Nursing and Midwifery Council registration.
• Have significant industry experience within healthcare settings.
• Experience supporting students in practice placement settings and strong organisational and ICT skills.
• Experience of teaching or supporting learning in further education or adult learning environments is advantageous.
• Ideally hold Assessor and Verifier qualifications or a teaching qualification such as the Professional Development Award in Teaching or the Teaching Qualification (Further Education).
• Sound understanding of health and safety requirements, quality enhancement processes and sector standards.
• Experience delivering industry training within healthcare provision is highly desirable.
