# Highways Roadside Technology Engineer Location Falkirk Our  client is looking for an
** Engineer
* * delivering installation, maintenance and commissioning of
** Highways Roadside Technology**. Reporting to the Assistant Project Manager, you will be based in
** South Gloucestershire
** but operate on live highways sites across the client’s motorway network.  The role involves
** travel and variable shifts**.

* What you will need:

**
* ** Proven background in installation or maintenance of electrical or electronic equipment** (essential).
* ** ONC/HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical or Electronic Engineering**.
* ** Willingness and ability to work roadside, at heights, and on live networks**, including nights and weekends as required.
* ** Working knowledge of Health & Safety procedures
** and confidence producing required documentation.
* ** Eligibility to pass DBS checks
** and full UK driving capability for network travel.
* Salary **£31,000–£40,000.**
* ** Overtime available**, with variable shift opportunities.
* Exposure to
** critical highways technology projects
** across the network.
* Opportunity to work with
** experienced project teams and specialist subcontractors**.
* Stable role within a structured delivery environment with clear reporting lines.
