The Housing Support approach delivers person-centred support to people who have experienced homelessness or are at risk of becoming homeless in the Renfrewshire area. We also offer support to access services for mental health, alcohol and other drug use and social opportunities within their community.

Since 2012, we have worked closely with Renfrewshire Council to deliver Housing support and prevention to the people of Renfrewshire. The support we provide is always person centred, we do this by involving people who know the person well, this includes family and friends, other health and Social Work professionals, Advocacy services and our own staff members.

No previous working experience is needed; full training will be provided to you. We believe having the right values of respect, compassion, inclusion and integrity is all you need to join our team! We would offer you full support in completing your application.

As a Support Practitioner, you will work with individuals who have a wide range of support needs, providing them with practical and emotional support and encouraging them to achieve their own personal outcomes in all aspects of their daily lives e.g. keeping safe, meaningful activities, community involvement, physical health, relationships, emotional health and wellbeing.
